About me I've been a computer programmer since I first started typing in program listings on a Commodore Vic 20 when I was about 8. My hobbies include electronics, CNC manufacturing, photography, beer and winemaking.
I live with my wife and lots of left-over parts from unfinished projects in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA.]

A growing number of sites let you use OpenID to sign in (e.g., to leave
comments). I looked into running my own OpenID provider, but in the end
I decided to use OpenID delegation to launchpad.net. One good thing about
OpenID delegation is that I can transparently switch this to another provider
if my hate for Ubuntu/Canonical reaches a critical threshhold, so this is
not an irrevocable decision.
This is the best tutorial I found (and the one that introduced me to OpenID
delegation). This launchpad thread
led me to a template for the delegation to launchpad. This is my OpenID delegation URL which
I intend to use henceforth to identify myself .
